An Adventure in Florida
Destiny Basten, Have you ever been to Florida? Well If not I’m going to tell you allot about my vacation in Orlando Florida. While I was in Vegas I was packing my clothes for my trip to Orlando Florida. I was packing allot of things, I packed like 7 outfits and 2 pairs of shoes. I also packed my snacks for the airplane ride there. I got done packing and put all of my things in the car so we can get ready and leave. When I got in the car I put my seatbelt on and it was time to go. On my way to the airport I fell asleep. I was so exhausted, but I got at least 30 mins of sleep. My aunt Christina, my uncle Jimmy, and my cousin Ethan came with me to Florida. When I got to the airport I went inside and got our luggage’s weighed

It was a 30 minute wait just to get on the slide but it was fine with me. The line kept getting shorter and I felt so scared to go on the slide because it looked scary from the view of the park. Once we got up to the top of the line and we got in the inner tube and I thought when I went in the back I was going to stay in the back but obviously not I got turned around and I didn’t like it. When I got off the slide we went to the dolphin plunge. It looked so cool so I just went on it. This ride was also a 30 minute ride. Too Much! But I still was patient and went on it. Once I got in the plastic tube that was built in the slide I was so nervous. I went down the slide and saw the beautiful dolphins. I landed in 3ft water. I felt like I drowned in only 3ft water. The next slide I went on was the racing slide were you go on this board and you raced down the slide with your family members or whoever you’re going with. Once I got up on the racing slides they let us pick a slide color that represents us like if I was purple they would know it’s me. So I got up on the slide and I picked purple and got ready to race my family members that were with me. The life guard said “go” and I got stuck in the middle of the slide but I figured it out I kept pushing in till I started moving. I was so scared. But I came in last place obviously because I got stuck in the middle of the slide. After that slide I went to the lazy river …show more content…
They were coming to visit us so we can see them and have a lot of fun with them. We picked them up from the airport and we drove to the condo so we can go to sleep and have another fun say tomorrow. We didn’t go to sleep in till about 11:00 we played cards and a lot of fun games. We usually play for money so this game we played cost 1$ to play so I put one of my dollars in and we started playing the game. We each put a card down for the first round and keep track of the points so we know whoever won the game. It was so fun especially playing with family. So at the end of the game we added up our points and I actually won 6$ it was a good deal I put 1$ in and I got 6$. Good luck for me. We went to bed after all those games we

Sean Baker first came onto my radar with 2015's Tangerine, the unique and moving story of a transgender girl searching on Christmas Eve for the pimp who broke her heart. Oh, and it was also shot almost entirely on an iPhone 5s. This made Baker a must-watch director for me. His newest film, The Florida Project, follows the life of a 6-year girl and her single mother over the course of one summer. Not much more detail than that is known other than the film also stars Willem Dafoe in what critics are calling one of his best performances.…

This analysis compares the precipitation patterns of six different Florida locations: Marathon Shores, Pensacola, Daytona Beach, Tavernier, Chipley, and Libson. All of these locations vary geographically, ranging from the Florida Keys to the Florida Panhandle. Based on the many physical geography theories learned in class so far, it can be asserted that precipitation varies throughout the state of Florida. Indeed, there are many factors that influence precipitation levels: convection, cold fronts, proximity to the ocean, and frequency of hurricanes. Of course, these are not the only factors that influence precipitation levels, but they are a major part of the process.…
