Not every woman in the world owns human rights, and treated equally as men. Lots of women suffer a lot of pain through their life. But they do not surrender. Instead, they power up and face the problem together. The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd and A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hassenin have a lot in common; they both contain the cruelty of being a woman; the challenges the female characters have to go through are unimaginable.
