The essay is mainly about a girl that lost a friend to a heart related death. She was very attached to the fact that her friend wasn't there to comfort her when ever she was down or when she needed a good laugh. So she struggled with depression and alcohol, getting drunk a lot. Through grace she found a way out of her struggles. She realized that her family and other friends were always there for her she just pushed them out of her life because of the sorrow she was experiencing. With this grace that she was shown she got her real life back. The author’s point that they are trying to make is “Miss me but let me go”. This message is saying that if you hold on for too long you will be wasting your life on regretting the things you didn’t do or
