One stormy day in Huckleberry, an eleven-year- old girl named Sydney Redd was

cleaning out their dirty, wet attic. As she was going through all of the old pictures and filthy

albums she saw a bunch of pictures of her mom. Her mom, Emily Redd, died when Sydney was

two years old, she had died for a reason that Sydney still does not know. As she was looking at

the pictures she started crying because she really missed her mom. Her dad heard her crying so

he came up and comforted Sydney. However, her curiosity could not be held back anymore so

she asked, she asked how her mom died. Her dad took off his glasses said “Your mom was a

A lot of people took interest in it because

they were also sick of the unjust laws.

One day as Sydney was going to the other neighborhood for support she ran into a couple

of people who were from the neighboring city, they seemed friendly so Sydney asked them if

they would help her rebel against the government. They thought about it for a few minutes and

agreed, so Sydney gave them the information of when the rebellion was. She had it all planned

out the rebellion would take action May 6th 3099, exactly 9 days away.

On May 1st, as Sydney was walking to the Donut shop she ran into a kid, the kid looked

like he was a baron so she leaned down to help him. When they were done picking the papers up

the baron said “ Hi, my name is Max, Max Groney.”

Then Sydney said, “ Hi, my name is Sydney Redd.”

After a long awkward pause then Sydney thought to ask him if he would want to come to

the donut shop with her so she did and he accepted her offer. As they were walking to the donut

shop Sydney started talking about her family and then Max also started talking about his family.

When they got their donuts Sydney had to get 12 donuts her and her dad because

Meanwhile

Max got 1 donut for himself, then they both said goodbye and started off for their own houses,

Sydney to her small and old house and Max to big, bright mansion. After Sydney had met Max

could not concentrate on the rebellion for some reason she just could concentrate on anything

and she did not know why.

Then on May 6th she was walking to Silly Sally’s Sushi restaurant when she met Max

again. Their Max asked Sydney if she wanted to go to the restaurant and Sydney said yes so they

both went. At this time Sydney weighed 100 lbs. when she was only 50 inches, the average

height for Sydney’s age would be 80 lbs. and 55 inches tall. However it seemed like Max and

Sydney liked each other even though it was against social classes.

That night when Sydney was eating she told her dad that she liked a baron named Max

Groney. Her dad then said, “Sydney I hope you know what the consequences are for hanging out

with a baron, my only advice for you is to concentrate on your rebellion.” Sydney listens
