Everybody cheering and then he saw the players grab Jeter to celebrate with him. Everybody was saying “The perfect ending to a perfect career.” He could see Jeter wiping tears from his eyes as he was being celebrated throughout the big city of New York.
Jim was in awe. He wanted to learn more and see more of baseball, but most importantly he wanted to play baseball. When he got pack to the orphanage he was determined and he would start to play the next day, if only he had a glove, bat and ball. Chris could see how much he wanted to play and lended his glove and a ball to Jim.
At the recess yard Jim still had nobody to play with. He asked everybody he could find to play with him, but nobody wanted to play. He decided to play with himself, for the remainder of the day, Jim through the ball up in the air, and caught it again.
