Most humans do not understand the benefits that come from our land and how our day to day actions can be utterly fatal for our land. People will say of course we should be good stewards but stewardship is very broad and does not place a face we can care for. We need a kind of primary target for an ethic. I feel as though to care for our land is to care for all nature. Stewardship is too broad of an action and not directly concentrated in anything specific. The definition of stewardship is the conducting, supervising, or managing of something; especially: the careful and responsible management of something entrusted to one 's care. Such as the inheritance of land or even the purchase of land. This is where I get management from the definition of stewardship and since we are talking about land I say its land management. So I can say be a good steward of our land but stewardship is not my ethic exactly it’s just a piece. My Ethic is Land Ethics. Our societies deliberately and extensively rebuilds the natural environment and tries to recreate the natural environment in the rural and municipal environments in which they reside. If we left less of an impact on our land in the first place we would not consistently have to try and rebuild something that was already
