As an assistant physician, I was responsible for general examination and impart health care education to the children, woman and family members. Eager to gain hands-on experience, I continued this work as a physician during my doctorate of medicine. Through my 3 years working as a physician there, I came across multiple cases of malnutrition and increasing rate of mental disorder in children. Undertaking maternal cases revealed the history of malnutrition and physical abuse during pregnancy, which could have contributed to the current state of the child. Deriving from the clinical assessments, I submitted my thesis for Doctorate of Medicine on “To study the scope of the mental state of patients in homeopathic practice”. Such cases deeply troubled me about the challenges of a low socio-economic status with the unavailability of nutrition and mental health for growing children and pregnant women.
Being from an alternative medical field, I did not want to restrict my knowledge of Homeopathic medicine. I acquired knowledge of traditional medicine too. The reason behind this thought was - no science is complete in itself every science has its limitations.
