A group that presented talked about Stress Management. What is stress? Stress is a mental or emotional strain. It can also be a response to threat or demand. Some effects that the body can have are physically: breathing problems, chest pain, low energy, difficulty sleeping and muscle tension. Emotionally you would have no motivation, feel bad about yourself and be alone. In your behavior you would notice that you have mood swings and you are eating too much. Some disorders related to stress are heart disease, asthma, obesity, depression, diabetes and stomach problems. Things that get you distracted and can get you stressed are drugs, alcohol, boyfriends/girlfriends, social media and much more. What you can do to not be stressed is turn off electronics. Do something good , not just be on your phone all day because that can get you stressed. Being on social media and looking at pictures of other girls that are prettier than you can get your stress because you want to be like them, it’s always good to just turn off your electronic. Get in a quiet room and just relax. Drink lots of fluids and be hydrated. I think the Stress management group did a really good job presenting. They provided us with lots of information about Stress and how to manage
