It is a movie to honor a great woman that never give in to difficulties and insist to her career. The Freedom Writers states a strong woman’s voice. A woman could be strong and never give up. At the beginning, we could see the background of the story, it is real, and really happened in America, gang violence could be a horrible threat to people while racial discrimination were terribly happened. And voluntary integration was taken into actions. Many teachers had no choice but to teach black students even they did not willing to. At this point, Ms. Gruewell became a teacher, she was happy and looked forward to it, even her father did not agree with her choice, her father thought it was not a good job for her, she deserved a better job, and be more excellent. At the first day of her teaching, her students were not unity, they fought to each other, and showed no respect to Ms. Gruewell. It changed Ms. Gruwell’s expectation to her teaching career. She found her students did not get access to read the library’s books, the teacher who manage the library disagree to allow them to read the books for she do no trust them. There was no way for her students to read book and learn knowledge. Ms. Gruewell had no money to buy her students books and educate them, so she thought of doing part-time job.
