A Story Of Serina

The story Serina began in Kazimierz a suburb in Krakow in the year 1899. Serina was the carefree eldest daughter of a wealthy Jewish family, spoiled by her parents and Johanna, her Polish maid. At home on one normal Friday night, Serina watched her siblings while her parents were at shul, but that Friday night was anything but normal. For that night Serina was taken from the only home she had ever known was taken and given over to the hands of Felician nuns by non-other than her faithful family main Johanna.
The Lederman family once bustling with joy and happiness were now broken with grief ridden faces. Serinas father tried helplessly to bring his daughter back, to no avail. Meanwhile behind the convent walls, the nuns constantly related vicious tails to Serina in hopes that she would forget her old ways and adapt to Christianity . The sisters told her that her behavior towards her parents was unfathomable so much so they were no longer interested and angry with her. Bent on destroying her past as a Jew and recreating her as a devout Catholic, She was moved from convent to convent in hopes that she would forget her old ways and adopt to Christianity. But try as they might they were not successful, she would not be persuaded in their wicked ways. . Serina never lost hope until one day, after being disrespectful to a nun Serina was sent to the dungeon. For two days in the narrow dungeon Serina had nothing to eat or drink which sent her into a coma.
