I liked the book because it was about a true story. I also liked it because Jaycee Dugard was brave enough to share her story even though Philip Garrido said not to, which was inspiring. My favorite part of the book was the beginning when Jaycee told about her family and described things her mom had done with her like, watching the moon at night. My least favorite part of the book was when Jaycee was abducted and Philip told Jaycee lies. One example was when Philip told Jaycee he was only one that loved her and if she left, she would have nowhere else to go with her children. I enjoyed the book and thought it was interesting and inspiring, I would recommend
