This caused many things to happen such as crime scene contamination, tampering of evidence, and refusal of outside help. Within the first 24 hours of the crime happening, the police did not question the key witnesses or neighbors which caused a major problem when it comes to who may have seen something important. The pathologist also showed up 18 hours after the crime was committed which can cause a conflict in finding evidence, and providing a valid cause of death of the victim.
