It 's not always easy to collarborate with people who don 't share the same experiences or beliefs. Sometimes, it causes one to lose faith. Sometimes, it causes one to look at life with a new perspective. One of the most significant situations that I have experienced with people who didn 't share the same beliefs was when I had to make the decision of allowing a man into the woman 's fitting room when I worked for Target. On April 20,2016, Target Corporation relased a statement about transgender restrooms. In the statement they talked about how if any employee or customer is transgender, they were allowed to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity. However, I didn 't agree with that. I don 't believe that it is okay for a man to be in a restroom or fitting room with women or little children, and …show more content…
Nor did she share the sames beliefs about transgender rules at Target. Initially, I felt like I needed to accept the fact that I wasn 't confortable with the transgender policies. I felt like I was disobeying God, and clinging on to the wordly things. Looking back on the situation, I wholeheartly believe that it was conformation for me. I knew that God had a specific reason why He allowed that situation to happen. One thing that did change was my understanding of the transgender polices. It changed my persepctive when it came to situations that I didn 't exactly know the answers to. It taught me to always call on a manager when not sure of what to do. It taught me to still continue to be respectful to
