This is one area that hinders me in almost every way. To put it simply, I rarely believe that I can do something well. Any flaw, no matter how insignificant or nonexistent it may be, I will focus on. It will be on my mind well after I present, and it will lead me into whatever speech I may have to give afterwards. While it is a good thing to take in consideration what it is that you do well and what it is that you could do better, as I learned in this class, you never should focus on one if you have any plans on improving. On one hand, you may see yourself as a communication king and whatever you do is the best way to do it. On the other, and where I find myself often, one can neglect to nurture what good had been present. One self-feedback at a time, I will look at what it was that I did well. When I have to tell a group of people of what it is that my shop does for our unit, I will not be focused at how much longer until I am done. I will instead, look at them. See what it is that they are telling me. With that I will adapt, much like I had to for this class. It is hardly a subject that one can master in a week or a year. This is something that will take many years to develop and even more before one can say that they are a good speaker. Luckily, I now have an understanding and with it, a goal for which to use
