Personal Goals Essay

There are three type of goals that we are faced with in our daily lives: short-term, long-term, and personal goals. For example, a long-term goal would be to make a company in the future, a short-term goal is to graduate with a bachelor’s degree from the university, and a personal goal would be to beat your best mile time. Although we may set a numerous amount of goals, many of the goals we set are usually created before we begin a goal, during the process of completing a goal, or after we have completed a goal. Furthermore, many of the goals that we set are heavily influenced on our perceptions of life which include our personal beliefs, passions, and values. Finally, our strong-will to accomplish our goals, determines our classification as a person.
Astonishingly, influenced around a mixture of Hispanic and American culture, the diversified person I’ve become today has mainly been formed around from my own personal values as well as beliefs. In addition, my family’s belief made me more of a sophisticated person by advising me to work harder and smarter than anybody else because in the end those who fail will be the ones that regret the opportunities that they left on the table. In order to conquer these goals, I had to climb a profoundly long, steep rocky mountain. The steps I have had to take is the continuation of my journey; the reason I’m here. Thus, by already accomplishing a fourth of my goals, the other three-fourths of my life depends on the goals I will continue to make true. Therefore, the goals that I’ve completed have been a step further towards the next goal in my life. In conclusion, in order to achieve my career goal of becoming a software engineer and business man I will need to continue to drive down the rough road
