Here we have Parvana’s house, Parvana and her family stayed here during the entirety of breadwinner. A lot of things happened here, one of the more important things is when Father got ripped from her family for having gone to england for his education. They then searched the dusty shelves for anything else. They left the home broken and instilled everyone with fear. The Dark, Dusty one room house has been a very important location in the book. This spot in the marketplace is where father spent his days reading letters and selling writing related things for money. Father tutored Parvana on how his business operated so that when he was gone Parvana could take over. Parvana had to put the skills she learned when father got taken. Parvana dressed like a boy and took over her father's business. The dusty and shady place has become a staple in the book. …show more content…
She got up and walked to the prison, Parvana also came along. This neglected, damp prison was where Father was held during the events of the breadwinner. When Parvana and her mother arrived, their feet were blistered and tired. Mother went up to one of the guards and asked for Father to get released. Mother and Parvana were promptly beaten with sticks and sent back on there way, Solidifying that Father would not be returning for a long time. After a long day reading letters in the market, Parvana noticed the tea boys running around. She could've sworn she saw one of them before. At the end of her day, Parvana went up to the curious tea boy and immediately noticed that the tea boy was Shauzia! One of Parvana's old friends from school. They talked for awhile and found out that Shauzia is trying to do the same thing Parvana is doing. Dressing up as a boy and earning money for her family. Shauzia became close friends with Parvana once again and became her ally, and an outside view. Someone Parvana could come to for
