He picked her up at eight o’clock. She didn’t know how he was able to get into the suit, considering she hadn’t helped him, but he looked dashing. She had no clue where he had taken her, but the stars were so bright, she was sure she was sitting on one of Saturn’s rings. She felt a warm glow spread through her whenever she held his hand, which surprised her because for as long as she could remember, her hands had always been cold.

Rory knew Eliza didn’t realize that a cold beer is what calmed his stomach and nerves before marrying the most amazing girl in the world.
She glowed while walking down the aisle, with her best friend Jane in front of her. Her face was his light. He found her to be a plain girl, but Rory had no clue how to explain that plain was never just “plain” when it was describing her, and that plain was the prettiest she could be.
