As gunfire was blazing and sirens blaring, Dally was running from the cops. After Johnny died, Dally lost it. He lost his mind. Dally robbed the convenience store next to the hospital and was being chased by the cops. Near the park, Dally was shot. Right before my eyes, I saw him go down. My feet collapsed out from under me and I checked his pulse.
¨Heś still alive! Heś still breathing!¨ I shout as Darry and the rest of the gang come darting towards us.
The ambulance pulled up and took Dally to the hospital.
¨Heś going to be alright. Heś going to be alright.¨ Those words roll around in my head.
After what seems like forever, the doctor comes out to tell us that Dally is fine.
