As I sit at the desk in the bedroom on the computer looking at how the business is going. I look at people logging in the amount they sold and I do the math to make sure everything looks right. As I'm doing this the news on the tv catches my attention.
"A wave of violence in Brazil over the past 2 weeks," The news lady says and I roll over and grab the remote off the bed to cut the volume up on the tv.
"A man shot in his warehouse, in front of his child, then two days later his father was shot inside of his house. The police officer says this is nothing to worry about, but they will be on the look out. The belief is that it is related to drugs but the authorities have chosen to say no comment" She explains and they show Leo's warehouse and then his father house gate and the house in the …show more content…
"Kyree" I look at him because of he his acting like I'm dumb.
"Ight" I checked and I roll my eyes, "But it wasn't it was Juan. He told me he was going to finish it, and I just said ok" He told me and I nodded my head. "But I'm about to head to the warehouse," he said kissing me on my forehead, then the child pops in my head.
"One more thing" I turn to him. "They also said it was a child in the warehouse when we went it, they say it was Leo's I didn't know he had one. Did you see one" I ask him.
"Nah, I didn't," he says and walks out the door.
I continue to look at the numbers about 1 hour into it, my phone rings. I pick it up without looking at who it is.
"Wassup Joy," Troy says casually.
"Umm, Troy wassup," I say to him wondering what is going on.
"Can you pick my up, the charges were drop" He says and I lean up and get up to grab my keys.
"Those types of charges don't just get drop like that," I say to him.
"I know I know, but come and get me," He says.
"OK, but it will be about 2 hours or so," I tell him.
"That cool, just don't tell nobody you coming," He says and the line
