The program has assigned a number value (points) to all food and drinks according to how your body processes nutrients. This system centers around being conscious of what you eat, and the amount you eat. WeightWatchers took into consideration my height, weight, and age and then assigned me a certain number of food points, which is the amount of food I can eat each day to stay healthy and lose weight. Everyone is also assigned an extra standard amount of points each week that will still allow you to lose weight. I decide what I will eat and how much of it I will eat based on the amount of points I have. The focus on the program are food choices that have a positive effect on my health.
