Favorite Characters
One of my favorite characters in the novel, A Separate Peace is Brinker Hadley. His character is more interesting then some of the others for me. I think it is amazing how he is responsible but irresponsible at the same time. In the Assembly Room where he does his public performance as Gene’s questioner he is dramatic, and aggressive while still being polite. For example, when he questions Leper he is straightforward and desperate for answers but at the same time he is gentle, considering Leper’s condition. Another one of my favorite characters in A Separate Peace is Gene, the main character. He is relatable for many teens because he is insecure and jealous over his popular best friend.
