Both stories use plot structure to keep the readers interested. “A Rose for Emily” by William Faulkner’s had the best plot structure from the very beginning. Throughout the story we are given some parts here and there which makes the story more interesting sort of like a mystery. The story starts with the protagonist ‘s (Emily) funeral and ends with her death which made the story even more interesting. The narrator starts off by describing her personality, her father and her social class. She is described as odd and isolated woman from the very beginning to the end of the story. According to Emily’s father she was not permitted to date or marry any man because she was too good for any man. After her father’s death she went out very little,
