The book itself appealed so much to me because the beginning of the book focuses so much on fly fishing itself. The stories of fishing with his brother and father make me wish i had that kind of relationship with my own family. But also the struggles his family goes through relates partly to my own. His brother is a very heavy drinker and my sister is also. But the difference I see is that my sister can control hers Jim can not control his urges and has to be constantly drinking. I went just yesterday in the morning fishing then after my exam I went back I was drinking with my buddies and catching fish then last night we cleaned all the fish and fixed them up. That story alone relates so much to the book and I was able to do that because of the friends I have made here and the location itself. Opportunities like this don't come from other colleges especially so the ones near the big cities.
