Tiny house Hills claim is that living beyond means is not only destructive to the environment, but also detrimental to the mental health and true happiness. Hill uses all 3 parts of the Rhetoric triangle. He uses a lot of logos with facts. 22$ billion dollar storage industries. Pathos was used as in a very personal way. “I like material things as much as anyone” says he is just like us. He cited people that were very credible for Ethos, Galen V. Bodenhausen linked consumption with antisocial behavior. Transcendentalist point of view can be very self-reliant which Hills was. He makes his own money from making companies which is incredible and he finds happiness himself through travel. He also is able to travel where ever he wants which is spontaneous. ”. Also very a transcendentalist quality. “Not bound to Spain”. Romanticism can also connect. Hill seeks unspoiled nature, nature’s beauty and protecting it. He is individually free.

Crowds of people are flocking toward this movement as a means to cut down on costs of living, comfortably, and simplifying life. While I do believe that Americans are living beyond their needs, I do not think the tiny house movement is the best solution or at least the best solution for me. There are certain advantages to living in a larger house that I feel allow me to live a healthier life. Room for a large bed for example, a place to keep and organize my things, and room for company and visiting family. In addition, it is well-known in the corporate world that spending excessive time in small spaces such as cubicles is damaging to a person’s mental health, causing stress and anxiety. Having a nice, quiet room free of distractions is vital for me to study and knowing I always have that place gives me peace of
