“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” Acts 2:42 (ESV).
The parable In Luke 10:30, is about a man who was walking down a road, when he was suddenly attacked by a gang of thugs. He was stripped, robbed, beaten and thrown to the side of the road left to die. Jesus didn’t say much more about this man who he was, if he had family or friends, the only things we do know, is that he was abandoned and left alone. Perhaps some of us have gone through a similar experience or had known someone who had. When we face trials and challenges, those to whom we’re connected with, can help and support us. When we’re hit by fear and anxiety, they can give us right — perspective
