Twitter is a hub for people who wish to discredit things Clinton does or says. Hillary stated that defunding planned parenthood was an attack on women's health and that the videos were seen out of context and were misunderstood. Consequently, someone took to twitter to state that the videos. Similarly, people have yet to stop tweeting about Hillary’s email scandal. People routinely insist that, despite her apology and explanation, Clinton should be in jail for what she did. While there are people that support Clinton and show their support through twitter, the social network has a wider range of tweets insulting the presidential candidate. It is an outlet for people releasing their frustration quickly and easily with no filtration system in place. They have a responsibility to report the news objectively and resist bias. They also have a reputation to uphold and in order to do so must be accurate and impartial. In CNN’s coverage of Clinton’s campaign the focus on fact base articles, sharing political announcements that she makes, describing her campaign events and comparing her with the other candidates. While attempting to stay unbiased, CNN - which has a reputation for having more liberal views - does post more positive commentary on Clinton and her campaign, then they post criticism. In a seven day news cycle, starting September 17th and ending on the 23rd, there was only one inherently negative article on Clinton, while the rest were either neutral or about her in a positive light. It is worth noting that while tweeters were quick to exclaim that Hillary started the Birther movement, CNN completely ignores that issue in their initial response to Trump’s comments, and only mentions it in an article three days
