Rescue magazine is a magazine that provides local animal shelters in Texas with much needed food and supplies. Their mission is to give every animal a chance to be adopted by placing them in their magazines. Though most adoption advertisements rely heavily on appeals to pathos, they also can demonstrate logos and ethos efficiently. The argument of this ad is that you should adopt animals instead of shopping for them. For example, every 7 in 10 cats are euthanized in shelters because there is no one to adopt them. Also, only 10-20% of animals owned are adopted. This appeal to logos will leave an impression on its reader that they should consider rescuing an animal before buying from a breeder.
