Here the author discussed the idea of how people in this world are divided into groups according to whether or not they believe in God and if they do believe in Him, they are further divided according to their beliefs about His involvement with the people of the world. This, he explains, is what Christians need in order to be redeemed back to God. Furthermore, he explains that for the most part, the worse off we are, the harder it is to be redeemed. Only when God shares a part of himself with us, is when we are able to do this. Therefore, God became man, who was also God, so that he could share himself with us.
