Veteran medicine is similar to a degree in medicine due to the nature of the course and only a handful of courses in the UK that will lead to graduates being able to register with the Royal College of Veteran Surgeons. Some universities may also offer a foundation year if a student didn’t obtain the correct prerequisites but still wishes to take the course - this will be taken prior to the university course to ensure the individual is up to scratch in correlation to the degree expectations.
