Why Do Animals Communicate

A commonly asked question by many scientists and especially pet owners is: Can they understand what I am saying? Having the opportunity to understand what an animal is trying to say to us can be very important, along with them being able to understand what we are trying to communicate. Because of the possible benefits of man and animal understanding each other, scientist have tried for many years to figure out what may seem like a simple question, but is, in fact, has still never been answered in full. There are many people who have done a great amount of research on this topic, and depending on the person and their beliefs, the outcomes can be different. Humans combine the ideas and symbols to arrange them in a place that which gives meaning to objects and such things like the future or past. Apes don’t actively think about the future and what can come out of it. This has to do with cognition and self-awareness.
