The workforce in the United States is more diverse than ever. Organizations throughout the United States are becoming more diverse in the aspect of leadership. Leadership in this country is crucial; it is the center for every organization. The key to an organization’s success is highly dependent on effectiveness of leadership. The main functions of a leader are is to accomplish the task given and lead members of the team to the goal. Leaders are expected to keep interpersonal relations, judge problems, and provide Encouragement. Employee retention is one of the most critical issues facing some leaders.

Based on a manager 's views sales force retention as a critical organizational objective (Kacmar, K. M., Andrews, M. C., Van Rooy, D. L., Steilberg, R. C., & Cerrone, S. (2006)). Voluntary turnover is one aspect of retention that has a pervasive effect on the organization because it disrupts the ability to sustain and develop mutually benefi cial relationships with revenue-producing customers (Kacmar, K. M., Andrews, M. C., Van Rooy, D. L., Steilberg, R. C., & Cerrone, S. (2006)), while simultaneously burdening the organization with additional costs. In order to facilitate the collection of ideas, there are four objectives that need to be considered. First is to demonstrate the influence of job satisfaction and turnover rate in the food industry. Second is to seek or review the previous studies regarding the factors that might contribute to high turnovers. Third is to recognize the perceptions of the employees in the organization, particularly in large fast food industries. Fourth is to analyze the gathered information and create a comprehensive link on the factors and discuss the ways to improve the job satisfaction and turnover rate.
The research will be conducted as qualitative research with a variety of methods. This study will be conducted on employee that work in the fast food industry McDonald 's. Since the study aims at exploring the causes of employee turnover structured interviews will be used as means of data collection from the male and females of service.
