Every parents goal is to raise their children to have a better life than they had, that is why parent self-help books are flying of the shelves and ending up on best seller lists. Parents want to know what they can do to raise their children to succeed in the world. Root-Bernstein and Root-Bernstein devote their lives to the study of worldplay and how children’s paracosms are a brilliant method of developing divergent thinking. Parents need to embrace the spirit of the times and foster creativity in their children. However, raising creative children is no simple tasks, because many of the personality traits creative children possess require a high tolerance level to manage. Parents need to adjust their family process, how they raise their children, to fit the needs of their children. The family process adults use while raising their children is influenced by their family structure, traditions, and zeitgeist.
