Next, this drawing is kinda big that it take most of the center space of the poster it 's drawn in a cartoon style, and the fly has shoes which are pretty dirty and he is standing on top of a piece of bread while his nose is dripping on the food. This directly connects to the text "when a fly wipes his feet on your food" which is the the text located on top of the page. What if you get stranded on an island with just a bunch of little kids, and out of nowhere a dead parachutist lands on the island? The dead parachutist may symbolize violence towards the kids. He could also be indicated as the beast; the boys are thinking that there is a thing called the beast and while they are looking for the beast they find the parachutist which makes them believe that he is the beast. The parachutist does symbolize something other than what the beast and the Lord of the Flies represents. The dead parachutist can be represented in many different ways.…

We like to believe all people are good. However, in the allegorical novel Lord of the Flies, author William Golding challenges that notion. In the tale, a group of civilized boys are left to fend for themselves on a desolate island. Driven to chaos by degradation of the rules and their own fear, each boy begins his descent to a primitive state of mind. The story line of Golding’s novel supports the message of Thomas Hobbes, a 1600 philosopher who has written a plethora of published papers based on his idea on human character.…

The visual argument that Frederic Moussa presented was centered around the topic of peer pressure. The visual argument was short and concise so the message was easy to understand. The argument had three images presented in a cause and effect, plus a chronological format where each picture led to another one. The first image used a situation where a person was given a red cup, which symbolized an alcoholic beverage. The second image was a picture that said “Peer Pressure, it only takes one” which meant that peer pressure can trigger an event with just one influence.…
