This memo serves as an update regarding the Economic Development Division’s significant initiatives and to periodically communicate our activities with continued transparency.

This summary is a general overview of the Economic Development Division 's targeted and systematic efforts to meet the Division 's goals of coordinating development efforts, business retention and recruitment, marketing the City and working collaboratively with partner organizations. This summary does not reflect initiatives that are in their infancy stages with respect to the confidentiality of prospective tenants, property owners, developers and corporate citizens.

The highlights of the Division’s activity for the last 90 days are as follows:

Downtown Incentive Program:
• We have finalized an administrative grant for the relocation of Isacco. They are relocating to the first street development. The grant made it feasible for the former Italian Bakery/O’Sole Mio space to be divided to accommodate this existing business. The amount of this award was $10,000.00.
• We have had several conversations with Dean Courser about two downtown incentive grants to fill the former Vertical Drop space. One of the tenants is Paul Ojeda the person who would like to open a video arcade in town.
Business Recruiting Efforts:
• We have had ongoing conversations with Ken Marino about a possible new business locating at the intersection of 14th Street and Rt. 38 (1500 Lincoln Highway) with the CVS attorneys…
