Reflection Paper In ACA, I have learned many valuable learning tools such as time management techniques, focus strategies, study skills, and communication skills. For example, in chapter two, “Managing Your Time,” it explains the best way to prioritize tasks into manageable chunks. Correctly using time management techniques allows a person to complete assignments in a less stressful manner and complete it to the best of his or her ability. Procrastination results in lower grades and higher stress levels. This has been one of the many valuable lessons learned through ACA class. Additionally, chapter six taught me the benefits of “Listening and Taking Notes.” For example, in this chapter I have learned the appropriate note taking …show more content…
For example, I have learned that you need to prepare physically. Such as, getting enough sleep and eating right so you can function at a normal pace. Also, you need to prepare emotionally to function better. How I have learned to prepare by relaxing and keeping a positive attitude about the exam and criteria. As stated earlier I have also learned the valuable skill of time management which is fount in the textbook in chapter two it explains the best way to prioritize tasks into manageable chunks. Correctly using time management techniques allows a person to complete assignments in a less stressful manner and complete it to the best of his or her ability. Procrastination results in lower grades and higher stress levels. Further more I have learned many valuable reading techniques as well through out chapter seven “Reading for Success”. It explains in this chapter that you need many reading skills to successfully preform while reading using some skills. Such as, as the skill of marking in your textbook helps you when referring to something you learned and helps you remember when you state it. Also another thing that helps is the skill of concentrating even if that means taking notes to concentrate on what you are reading to understand it as
