Listening: I think having others share their stories, secrets, hopes, and fears is one of the greatest gifts anyone can give. I sincerely believe when someone shares their stories with you it becomes part of your own. I’m really grateful to have the chance to share my story with you. I don’t generally share with people as much as I’ve told you. You listened so intently and asked questions when needed. I realized through this process that I received the gift of you listening. During our sessions, you seemed to always be fully invested in the conversation. When you would rephrase what I have said, I can tell that I was heard and understood.
