Abortion is the ending of pregnancy by removing or forcing out a fetus or embryo from the womb before it can survive on its own. Fetus is an unborn offspring of a mammal. Abortions performed prior to the third trimester are legal in the United States, although the issue has polarized mainstream political parties. Almost all state Democratic Party platforms support abortion while almost all state Republican Party (is one of the two major contemporary political parties in the United States). Abortion is a very contentious problem and one that cause very strong feelings on both sides of the debate. The states governments organize with three distinct branches, the three branches are the legislative branch the lawmakers, the executive branch which is the governor and the state departments, and the judicial branch the courts and the judges. Each branch is sovereign in its own area of responsibility, but it is also influenced by the checks and balances from the other branches. Citizen is a person who owing loyalty to and entitled by birth or naturalization to the protection of a state or nation. Citizen’s role in government is who citizen had a vote in all government decisions. To complete this project is that I’m individual responsibility, honesty, and respect for the law. Skills that I gain for completing this project is that I looked up lots of reading like articles, lot of challenge words that I don’t know and writing a lot that the skills that I gain to finish this project.
