They were asked 35 questions regarding the perception of dietary change, healthy eating habits, and food choices. However, the present study focused only on the questions that successfully persuaded the participants to express themselves freely regarding their eating habits and health. The sample of men was categorized into three age groups, each consisting of 8 participants. The first category included men from 35 years, the second one was individuals between 35 and 54 years, and the last was made up of individuals above 55 years. The male sample of 24 individuals was divided into two social classes which were blue collar and white collar and each comprising of 12 individuals. The researcher employed the snowball sampling method, whereby the initial participants suggested the names of other potential interviewees (Robson 1993).
