Like back in Limpopo, I had no friends in Gauteng. At some stage, I broke down and tried to commit suicide, mainly because I had no financial support.
As if operation when I was still young was not enough, I become very sick in 2012. I went from hospital to hospital. I tried various alternatives to get better. After all the up and down and exhausting the little finances we had, I was

Don’t give up on your dreams; it may be just the thing you were created to accomplish. Don’t allow anything to kill your dreams. As we speak I am a motivational speaker, professional nurse, song writer, author, radio slot for life coaching and I have a catering business. I have also adopted eighty (80) orphans.
From watching other kids dining in front of me to owning a catering is something I never thought will happen to my life. I am now one of the best chefs in the world. I lost dignity, value and I was discriminated, disowned by relatives but I am now stronger. What does not break you will only make you stronger.

From birth we are all born and aspire to achieve a goal be it small or large. These goals are known as dreams. Dreams will be tested everyday until they come true or are lost and forgotten. It is of course easier for some one to give up rather than to continue to pursue one’s dream. A dream can be tested by being surrounded by negativity.…

I interviewed my grandfather Charles Rutherford who lives down the road from me. We discussed a few different topics such as what his life was like being a kid, what he thought of school, and how he knew my grandmother was the one for him. It sometimes got off tracks talking about his children and what happened to them, but for most of the time we stayed on topic. We talked a lot about what life was like and his jobs and his life overall. This interview started about his life in Tennessee and it wasn't easy for him back then, he had to walk miles to school and his dad wasn't around very often.…

It was Thanksgiving morning, my brother, my sisters, and I were on our way to meet our parents and family at the AT&T stadium to tailgate at the Cowboys football game. On our way there, we stop at a red light, and I notice a homeless man sitting there. He had nowhere to go and nothing to eat. I felt bad for him and asked Jennifer, my sister, if we should give him some food. She says yes, so we stop at the gas station right in front of us.…

C handler the Fair, clad in a Mk II Fackelträger suit, was peeking around a hallway from the corner of a wall. He carefully searched for any patrolling sentries in the vicinity. Inside a section of sewer tunnels underneath a street in Oakland, California, things can be very unpleasant, regardless if he and his Kameraden were detected by either enemy sentries or even the unsuspecting sewer maintenance worker on the occasional night shift. When it seemed that everything seemed safe for both himself and the others he was with at the time, he told the others what he had seen. “There’s nothing here,” whispered Chandler, “Let’s get a move on.”…

My parents relocated my siblings and I from Quetzaltenango, Guatemala to San Diego, California in order to allow us to lead a prosperous future. Unlike children in Guatemala, we were presented with an excellent education in San Diego and indulged in learning. For as long as I can recall, discovering new facts and learning new things about the world fascinated me; consequently, I quickly began wanting to help others in their pursuit of learning. I was always the first to offer help to my struggling peers and would stay behind during recess to assist them. My acts were fueled by the desire to see students succeed and I would do anything to help them prosper.…

More than 10,000 people are homeless in Atlanta on any given night, and I was given the opportunity to go and help them. A year and a half ago I went up, from my lovely suburban hometown in Orlando, Florida, to the urban hub of Atlanta, Georgia with my local church’s youth group to help out with the homeless epidemic. Being a veteran of mission trips, I was prepared to help out people who needed help and let the kindness of God move through me like a beacon of love, but I was never prepared for all of it to change the way I viewed life. Morals inculcated in me on that trip still affect my decisions to this day. Morals such as being selfless, having patience, and having empathy profoundly define me as a person because of this trip.…
