Reflection On Professional Learning

Summative Reflective What does it mean to be part of a professional learning community and co-construct learning? After these past few weeks of Introduction into Foundations, I have learned quite about about this question. The topics involving a professional learning community and co-construct learning has my opinions and reactions following. Co-construct is developing an objective with people other than yourself. Co-construct learning, is learning which objectives these will be by discussion of each other 's opinions. I like this idea of not every week because things come up, and we only have class three times a week so our exit ticket is following six days of class. The deciding exit tickets include understanding, attendance, participation, and our key concepts. I think understanding is crucial in learning. It is nice for the teacher to know if we understand what has been discussed in class, that way as teachers, we will know if and what students need to improve on. The class social contract allows us the opportunity to be apart of a risk free, polite, considerate, supportive learning community. I think developing a contract on how the students will treat each other will create a sense of community where they can depend on each other. Bensen 413’s social contract consisted of; support, participation, respect, feedback, and accountability. I think feedback and input have the biggest impact. Hearing from one’s peers about what they can do better will help learn and take in outside ideas. Ultimately two minds over one can create a project or paper better. We all have our opinions but when we respect each other’s opinions and are open we can accomplish more together. This allows for valuable discussion between the students too. Professional educator code of ethics is a set of standards that is commonly know between a group of school system. A common ethic in teachers in dressing professionally. Students and other faculty will respect a person more when they are dressed to respect. As teachers we are standing in front of a class so I think kids are evaluating whether or
