One Day My Grandmother Told Me Narrative Essay

One day october 11th i was born my mom was very young still in highschool, i remember the story is if it was yesterday when my grandmother told me, i came out the womb and my mom started crying she stated” i can't raise him” i'm a baby with a baby i have no clue of what to do” and then my grandmother comforted her told her everythings going to be ok i will take care of him my grandma stated, me and your father will take care of the baby, days later on my way home it was my grandparents who picked me up, a year later my mom was gone off to college she was away until i was four and when she got back i didn't know who she was. I was told that my actual mom was my sister, it wasn't until the age of 8 that i was able to understand and find out that she was really my mom. Ever Since i've been getting raised by my grandparents

Sometimes i dont ask my parents for things i ask my grandparents because for a few years they were all i knew. At times my grandparents get upset at my parents and try to make them take ownership of me but its to late im about to be 18. They shouldve forced them when i was born but i understand my grandparents didnt want me to go up for adoption and they wanted my parents to finishs chool. Honestly i dont really communicate with my dads side of the family, i dont feel as though i fit in over there, i see them mostly holidays for a while and then its back to my immeidate family and that consist of my moms two sisters and their children, my grandparents, my mom and little brother, and little sister, and my moms
