When I was about 10 or 11 years old, I had got one of the best birthday presents that change on everything I wanted to do in the future. Right towards the middle of my fourth grade year, my dad had told me that if I had kept an A-B Honor roll, he would get me my very first computer. He had bought it for me as a surprise. I came home from school after a terrible day with my report card and it was only one grade below B. My dad acted as if he were mad but had gotten the grades before I did and did not care. I went to my room and a brand new laptop was on my bed. Now I thought my dad had given me some freedom on it but, he gave it to me for homework. After about a week of messing with the computer and learning new things, I turned off the parental controls. I was able to use the computer. After that I needed to find a way so my parents couldn't figure it out. So, I just changed setting around and made it look like they did it. My dad had ended up giving me his old laptop to do the changes to and I did for a few months but got bored and just stopped messing with it. My dad then showed me what other things I can do with computers. I learned about operating systems and coding. Broke that computer too with it. So, I was computer-less until christmas in 2014. The Golden Thread of Trouble In A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens, the good will of the French citizens expressed in the French revolution are overshadowed by Madame Defarge’s dark past. Throughout the millennia, humans have sought a way to maintain happiness for their selves. Humans have used many different ideas to achieve this, from social contact to technology.
