Person One: My roommate, Haley.
This week was really an eye opener for me. I learned that my best friend has been struggling and I didn’t even realize it. I started to ask Haley deeper questions and she completely opened up to me. I learned that Haley is the type of person who likes to appear like she’s perfect. She doesn’t want people to see her struggle. I think the reason Haley is like this is because of her family. She doesn’t want to disappoint them and so she is constantly trying to do everything perfectly. This week I also learned that I have been really selfish. I didn’t notice my best friend falling apart because I was too busy trying to get my story out there. This week has definitely made me re-evaluate my life.
