In a quote by Maya Angelou, which states ' ' If you do not like something change it. If you cannot change it, change your attitude ' '. These simple but powerful words stock with me ever since I first read it. As I reflect on the many factors that directed me towards the path of a Doctorate in Pharmacy, I could not help but incorporate this simple quote into my life endeavors. Changings and opportunities that would help me look at the health care problems in Cameroon with a different set of eyes and going back to where it all started is not the same as never leaving because now I would have something more to offer than just sorry. So I decided use the opportunity and chance which I have been given to me, a chance that most I know do not get, to pursue a career in the things that I was interested in my love for science, and helping people not feel helpless when they or a love one was sick. Following that path, brought me to pharmacy. When I was sure that this was what I wanted to do, I discussed it with my family, who were proud of me for finally deciding on what I wanted to peruse. They made sure I knew the path I had decided to take would not be an easy one, and that it requires hard work, dedication and commitment, but it could be

It’s cliche, I know, but the world truly did lose a great human being. After her passing, My Mimi, who is my father’s grandmother, took me in and supplied me everything I needed to succeed in life.…
