My mother was an immigrant at the young age of 11, and despite not knowing a “speck” of english she graduated highschool, and along with her brother, was the first generation in my family to attend and complete college. Not all change is good, but transitioning into something different gives people the opportunity to see the world and their lives in a different light. The new perspective gives people the opportunity to change the change if they oppose it, or to improve the change should they find any issues with it. Looking at the change around me, I want to leave the sidelines, and instead go help make the change. In today’s world, there are many injustices that need to change, and along with pursuing my passions and goals, i want to fight against the injustices. I hope my love of animals will help me fight against animal cruelty, my passion for the arts will allow me to support my surroundings schools, my understanding of living in a man’s world will allow me to get support and give support to all women to rise up and take their place as equals. I know that no matter what career I pursue, what challenges I face, I will help change the
