After the Civil War ended, a new Industrial revolution began. The end of the Civil War brought new ways to create a more efficient and prosperous economy, as well as an industrial and agricultural society. In my opinion, this new Industrial Revolution was a very good thing for American society. It made Americans see the potential in their country that was lost when the Civil War initially began. Since the war ended, soldiers came back to their homes and wanted to settle down with their families and go back to their normal lives. They were looking for work and the new Industrial Revolution brought jobs as well as new opportunities.
