Coming from a middle school where sports weren't required but still recommended had made Track much of a burden in my life. It had been a talent I was willing to let go to waist. At Least just up until I had started attending Hebron. I had competed in mini races in my elementary school all the time. Losing to my classmates always pushed me to do better and better each year. Although this experience led to a better performance each year, my despise for the sport started to grow because I was so afraid of the tension and competition.
