When the time came we boarded the plane and took are seats.

We found the pool outside on the right side of the building. We swam for hours and it was about dark when we were done so we headed in and took showers and went to bed. The next morning there was a free breakfast in the dining room so we went down to the lobby and walked to the back of the building where the dining room was. We finished eating breakfast and we went outside and the taxi took us to the Jacksonville zoo. The zoo was the best I’ve ever seen. We were able to feed a baby giraffe and pet sting rays. The sting rays were in a pool swimming in a circle and you would put your hand in the water and they would swim under your hand and you would brush their backs when they swam past you. The zoo was one of the best things we did on are vacation. When we got back to the hotel room it was late evening. We

So, they went back inside and sat there until they were called about 40 minutes later. By then, one of the towers had fallen and they knew that this was terrorism. When they got in the helicopter, my dad started putting in the address of where they were going. When he looked outside, he stopped putting in the address; they did not need it because they could see the thick, black smoke from the Pentagon. “There was not a cloud in the sky, not an airplane anywhere.”…

My first experience with death occured when I was 4 and my great-grandfather died, although I was not that affected, as I was too young to really know what was going on and I wasn´t really close with him in the first place. When I was 10, my grandfather was diagnosed with cancer, and he passed away two years later. This was my real first experience with death, as I was affected deeply, as was my family too. Grief has been both my downfall and my saving grace. No one knows how to grieve properly or correctly, but the one thing I learned from grieving at a very young age, is that grief is love; specifically, unconditional love. This unconditional love towards someone (or in my case, many people) pours out as a sign of loneliness and yearning just to hold them and hug them one final time. I understand that losing people is a part of life and can’t be avoided, but growing up, I thought my world had turned upside down when I lost the two most important people to me. Three weeks prior to my tenth birthday, my Nana passed away from Alzheimer’s Disease.…

A death of someone is never easy to handle, especially when it’s someone you truly care about. Growing up, the subject of death was never really concealed from me. My parents were very upfront about it and taught me that it is part of life. I have experienced multiple deaths throughout my years, both of family and nonfamily members, but only 4 of them really impacted me and taught me lessons. I wouldn’t say that these experiences of death has made me numb to it, but has shaped the way that I handle and look at death.…

Death is final with no point of return and extremely painful for the ones left behind to grieve. This was especially true for me when I lost my mother. Losing her was one of the most difficulty experiences in my life because I was not prepared for her death. Looking back on the situation, there was nothing for which to prepare; she was only fifty-one years old. I knew her health was not the best; however, the diagnosed health problems were not what killed her.…

In Chronicle of a Death Foretold there is a progression to the narrative structure. There is also a chronology to it although there are times where there are flashbacks or mention of things that happen later but other than that it pretty much follows the order in which the events happen. The first part of the narrative structure would be the morning of Santiago’s death. The morning is pretty much mentioned and elaborated on in the first chapter. Several characters are also mentioned in this chapter.…

The night prior was physically taxing; I was still feeling the degradation and pain from the brutal encounter. Dressed in the light pink pencil skirt, cream linen blouse, lace bra and pantie set provided as a gift, and my white stiletto heeled shoes, just as instructed; I parked the 67 white Ford Mustang and proceeded to walk across the parking lot. Lusty and rancorous again, he opened the hotel door. Each nerve within me feared him; I stayed my course and curved my lips upwards to a smile. My eyes out-rightly rejected his disgusting ugly, ruddy appearance, therefore they took it upon themselves to divert elsewhere in the room.…
