With each movie genre comes growth and evolution. When a genre first starts out in the industry, it usually will not look exactly the same as it would if it was made today. Specifically, when it comes to mafia movies, the core values each film shares still stays true. The consistent rush of criminal activity and bad guys looking like good guys are all the same qualities that keep the content of the films strong.
