Over the past few weeks we have been reading and watching Shakespeare's Midsummer Night’s Dream. Throughout the entire story love has been a huge part of the plot, but what is Shakespeare trying to say about love? Is it a carefree, amazing thing? Or is it complicated and annoying?
In my opinion, Shakespeare has made it clear that love is very complicated. With all the drama and complications. At the beginning of the story Hermia and Lysander liked each other, Helena liked Demetrius, Demetrius liked Hermia, and Hermia and Helena were best friends. Complicated, right? Well, as the story continued, Lysander fell in love with Helena after Puck put juice from a flower into Lysander’s eyes. Then Puck put the juice into Demetrius’ eyes
